What are the Top Wire Grid applications?
Wire grids are versatile enough to serve a whole host of purposes. Some of the most popular (in no particular order) are:

What specifications should I provide to order custom Wire Racks?

What types of tooling are involved in making wire products?
Depending on the configuration of the part, tooling can consist of templates, go-no go gages, forming dies, punches, weld & assembly fixtures, dies, etc. Tooling is usually required to ensure consistency from part to part & to hold critical and functional dimensions. As all of the parts Acme Wire Products manufactures are custom, there will be tooling involved. Tooling is customer owned & cannot be utilized for other projects.
Are there set up charges for running a part?
Set up and sample costs are usually provided as part of the tooling/development charge.
What type of tolerances are achievable with custom wire products?
Critical dimensions can be achieved through custom fixturing. While each wire fabricator will have their own fabrication techniques and strengths, Acme Wire Products focuses on manufacturing engineered components so we have the systems in place to be able to provide the tightest tolerances in the wire fabrication industry.
